January 1, 2014 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agencia Meeting
The agenda meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the
Colonia Firehouse on January 1, 2014 at 7:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.
Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune andThe Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

The bills for the New Year are starting to come in now.

The console was ordered.
I have a new price for the radio equipment from ..........She reworked it
and got rid of the one radio that we did not need in there. We are now at $114,371.52
which is for almost everything in there.

We will need to go over a couple things during the agenda meeting.

We had a couple of adjustments made:
12-31 had a battery issue and it wasn't charging properly through the charging system
to have the computer running in the car when it was off and it was running the battery
down. We replaced the battery and the charging system in the bottom of the vehicle to
make sure everything was charging properly.
The receptacle adapter for the rescue and 12-31 we are having Mitch look into that and
replacing those in the next week.
We had a couple first aid rigs go down. One is at Ray's with some radiator hose
problems which they are going to be fixing in the next two or three days.
We sent a couple of vehicles out which Commissioner Souza has already paid the bills.
One was 12-31 and the other was 12-35.

New Business
Commissioner Sheehan gave an update on the election. It is all set for February 15.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by
Commissioner Higgins, Jr. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.
