November 6, 2013 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agenda Meeting
The agenda meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on November 6, 2013 at 7:35 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.
Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park
Press and at Town Hall.
Commissioners present: Ray Hughes, Jim Souza, Ed Sheehan, Bill Higgins, Sr., and
BillHiggins, Jr.
Also Present: L. Higgins (First Aid) G. Reilly (First Aid) Chief Mackey, Firefighter Lorenzen, Firefighter Caposiena, Firefighter Giardina
Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Higgins, Sr.
Discuss suppression system in kitchen. Will discuss stairs in the back at regular meeting.
Water and Hydrants, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.

Will discuss radio room at regular room.
Will discuss Precession in reference to computers.
Tim is working on computers. We need to update all our equipment; it is old. He gave us a quote of $16,080.22to do the work.
Personnel, Commissioner Souza, Jr.
Chief Mackey will be having Mike Skully removed from rolls. He has been spoken to twice and his percentages are horrible.
Trucks and Equipment, Commissioner Sheehan
Commissioner Sheehan has bills for Commissioner Souza. FA-12 had work done. We had two rigs out of service but both are back in service.
Having service done on all the cars for the winter.
Mitch will start normal service on the rigs.
The light bar for 12-34 will cost $2,177.04.

Commissioner Higgins, Jr. at 7:45 pm. Motion passed by a unanimous vote
