The agenda meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on March 6, 2012 at 7:37 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Commissioners present: Ray Hughes, Ed Sheehan, Bill Higgins, Sr., Bill Higgins, Jr. and Jim Souza

Also Present: Chief Mackey, Firefighter Caposiena, Firefighter Giardina, G. Reilly (First Aid), L. Higgins, (First Aid), Firefighter Komorowski

Personnel, Commissioner Souza

There were a couple of guys who were out sick this month. We need to find out their status and if they were out due to a fire related activity. If so they are going to need a note.

Trucks and Equipment, Commissioner Sheehan

Will bring up under regular meeting.

Purchasing, Commissioner Hughes

Gear is on order. Everything else is on hold for the year.

Old Business

We need to discuss the spreader, leather boots, and helmets.

Motion to adjourn meeting was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Jr. at 7:41 p. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.

Commissioner Souza made a motion to move to Executive Session. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.
