December 5, 2018 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agenda Meeting

The Agenda meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on December 5, 7:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Commissioners present: Joe Fugaro Bill Stellmach, Ed Sheehan, Bill Higgins, Ray Hughes

Firefighter Garrett introduced a new Explorer to the Commissioners.

Spinello Plumbing came to the Firehouse to find out what the smell was. It turned out to be the battery on 12-3.

Commissioner Sheehan one or two units way from the total clean up. The cost will be $3,200.00 for the units to be cleaned.

The tower was looked at from the battery issue last night. Everything came back fine with it. Might have just been an issue because of the cold weather.

The zipper was fixed on the new turnout gear that was ordered. The other turnout gear that was the wrong size will be held onto and the correct size will be ordered.

Commissioners will go out to bid for the new generator they need at the first aid squad.
