September 5, 2018 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agenda Meeting

The Agenda meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on September 5, at 7:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

There is an elevator test set up for this month with the town.

Received breathing certificate.

Water Company changed water meter at SQAD.

The floors are being done in the bays.

There is an issue with the drain going from the parking lot out to the front. Might have to put drain underneath the pavers.

There is a problem with the computer in the Chief’s car. Commissioner Stellmach will have Mitch look at it first to see if it is the charging system.

There was an issue with one of the explorers. He has since resigned.

Gear is ordered.

Hose should be coming in shortly.

Trucks and Equipment, Commissioner Sheehan

12-3-2 Front end is fine. New tires were put on vehicle.

12-3-1had the breaks done.

12-6 is waiting to get radiator done. Had to be sent out to be made.

New van should be here on Friday.

Commissioner Higgins spoke with Rich from Silent Companion re key FOBS for SQAD. They need to be re-ordered.
