May 5, 2015 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agenda Meeting

The agenda meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on May 5, 2015 at 7:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park
Press and at Town Hall.

Commissioners present: Ray Hughes, Ed Sheehan, Bill Higgins, Sr., Bill Higgins, Jr. Excused: Jim Souza
There was a discussion with the Commissioners and Chief Stellmach on him bringing in guys with low percentages to talk with them.

Commissioner Sheehan gave an update on Commissioner Souza.

Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Higgins, Sr.

Commissioner Higgins got a quote for the back wall generator and power washing the building.

Commissioner Higgins had Dennis Henry from the township come in and look at where it ices up in the parking lot.

The urinal in the hall is fixed.

Commissioner Higgins purchased planters for the outside of the firehouse.

Wunder Electric finished up the backroom. Pinnacle hooked up the computer screen with all the buttons.

The old 12-2 sold for $21,000.00

12-3-2 had the AC charged. It is still under warranty.

12-3-1 had the emissions checked.

The new 12-2 is going to be washed and waxed by Bill Moran the Friday before the wet down.

After the wet down the power steering on 12-2 needs to be fixed.

Purchasing, Commissioner Hughes

Cameras for all vehicles and headset for 12-2 should be here on the 11th to start installing. Meters are in.

Old Business

Commissioner Sheehan passed out a hand out with all the vendors the Commissioners did business with this year.

New Business Commissioner Higgins, Jr.

Need to get new clickers for all the bays. 12-3 is working because it is new.
