March 4, 2015 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agenda Mtg.
The agenda meeting, of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on March 4, 2015 at 7:15pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

 Notice of the meeting was advised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Commissioners present Ray Hughes, Bill Higgins, Sr. and Bill Higgins, Jr. Excused: Jim Souza and Ed Sheehan
Bid meeting to sell the old truck started at 7:00 and no one attended the meeting and no bids were mailed in. Meeting lasted from 7:00 until 7:15 pm.
Commissioner Hughes wanted prayers said for Commissioner Sheehan and Commissioner Souza.

Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Higgins, Sr.
Will be getting new chairs for the hall.

Water and Hydrants, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.
Middlesex Water Company sent a list through District 7 to Colonia that there are 55 hydrants in Colonia that might be frozen.
On Vernon Way a hydrant was hit and it was called into the Water Company.

Insurance, Commissioner Hughes
Need audit for SQAD for Workers Comp. Alarms/Radios, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.
Mobil Tec came in and programmed radios and also took Chief’s radio and fixed it. Wunder was here but still haven't finished the room yet.

Personnel, Commissioner Souza

Trucks and Equipment, Commissioner Sheehan
License Plate holder is in for 12-2.
Mike Pizzio gave Jimmy a price on going all LED on the rescue. Mike is going to work up a new price because they came out with better lights that they don't need to cut anything to install the lights.
Mitch coming back to work on air horns on 12-21.

Commissioner Hughes reported that the head set and cameras are on order.

Motion to adjourn meeting was made by Commissioner Higgins, Jr. and seconded by
Commissioner Higgins, Sr. at 7:30 pm. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.
