December 2, 2015 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Regular Meeting

The regular meeting of the Colonia board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on December 2, 2015. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Commissioners Present: Ed Sheehan, Ray Hughes, Bill Higgins, Sr. Bill Higgins, Jr.

Excused: Jim Souza

Vinny has a list of guys who need some gear.

Treasurer's Report, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.

A motion to accept Treasurer's report was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Sr. Motion passed by unanimous vote.

Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Higgins, Sr.

Commissioner Higgins wanted to confirm that everyone was in agreement with redoing the kitchen.

Commissioner Sheehan made a motion to hire an architect to look at redesigning the kitchen and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Sr. Motion passed by unanimous vote.

Went over in budget at agenda meeting.

Commissioner Sheehan made a motion to adopt the budget and it was seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Jr. Motion passed by unanimous vote.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Commissioner Higgins, Jr. and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Sr. Motion passed by unanimous vote.
