June 3, 2015 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Regular Meeting

The regular meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on June 3, 2015 at 7:40 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Excused: Jim Souza

Chiefs Report

Commissioners have the percentages. Some of the percentages are poor therefore I will be talking to guys as I see them.

Treasurers Report, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.

A motion to accept treasurer's report was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Sr. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.

Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Higgins, Sr.

Painting is about 90% done. The parking lot will be done later in the summer. There are some leaks on the roof. They did some spot fixing but will need to have someone come in and look at it.

Commissioner Higgins will be calling back Mobile Tech regarding Inspector Hanley's radio.

Trucks/Equipment, Commissioner Sheehan

12-2 needs some adjustments that are still covered under warranty. Will get them done after wet down. 12-1 needs some body work.
