April 1, 2015 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioner Regular Meeting

The regular meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on April 1, 2015 at 7:42 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park
Press and at Town Hall.
Commissioners present: Ray Hughes, Ed Sheehan, Bill Higgins, Sr., Bill Higgins, Jr., Excused: Jim Souza
Also Present: Chief Stellmach, Firefighter Giardina

Chiefs Report
The firefighters are cleaning up the firehouse. The floors and bays have been a mess. Reports are all in front of you.

Treasurers Report, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.

A motion to accept treasurer's report was made by Commissioner Sheehan and seconded by Commissioner Higgins, Sr. Motion passed by a unanimous vote.

Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Higgins, Sr.
Commissioner Higgins, Sr. spoke to the parks department about the driveway and the drainage problem and we need to meet with the engineer from the township and show him.
Commissioner Higgins is going to call Alfredo to get flowers and plants to put around the firehouse.
We need to make sure whoever rents out the hall cleans it up. It has been left a mess after it has been rented.
