April 5, 2017 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agenda Meeting
The agenda meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on April 5, 2017 at 7:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.
Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home news Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.
Commissioners present: Ray Hughes, Bill Higgins, Jr, Bill Stellmach Ed Sheehan, and Joe Fugaro
Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Stellmach
Commissioner Stellmach has been working with architect on plans for the bathroom and kitchen.
Wunder Electric came in to fix the light switch. We need to buy LED lights that we can dim. We need to change all the bulbs at once.
Water and Hydrants, Commissioner Stellmach
The Water Company want a request in writing for the new main.
Insurance, Commissioner Hughes

New radios are coming in tomorrow. The new headsets are in.

All cars were done for the year - oil changes, etc.
There was some extensive damage on 12-32.
We need to put the old 12-1. The new 12-1 is at Absolute.
Purchasing, Commissioner Hughes
The guy is coming here on Tuesday at 7:00 pm for the guys who still need to be fitted for their gear.
Commissioners are ready to go out to bid if we choose to. The architecture, if he wants to, can sent them their bills electronically. Commissioner Braslow will call Braslow to let him know we are going out to bid and he can advertise.
New Business
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made at 7:44 pm by Commissioner Higgins and seconded by Commissioner Sheehan. Motion passed.
